The Isle of Man is a low tax economy with no capital gains tax, wealth tax, stamp duty, death duty or inheritance tax.
Whilst the Isle of Man continues to face budgetary challenges, it has favourably weathered the global financial storm.  According to the Isle of Man Government’s latest quarterly economic report the Island is heading for a healthy real growth rate of between three and four per cent in the current financial year. 

For investors the Isle of Man represents a stable and reputable business environment.  The slow down in the Island’s property market has offered opportunities for investors in the Buy to Let Market with sellers being more inclined to accept lower offers.  Whilst the retail and office sector remains sluggish, the residential rental market has continued to strengthen and offers a good return.  Blocks of flats in particular retain a high level of interest from purchasers with Douglas being the preferred area for investment.
